Build a Kennel! |

A doghouse
should provide a snug/warm home for your pet. Make the house
light enough so you can move it to a shady spot in warm weather.
To keep out dampness raise the house off the ground on bricks or
on a foundation of boards 4 to 5 inches wide. Drill air holes in
these boards to help dry out the ground under the house. Tack a
piece of carpet so it hangs over the door to keep out drafts.
For bedding cover the floor with old blankets or shredded
newspaper. |
